HL Deb 14 October 1981 vol 424 cc390-1

68A Line 6, leave out ("circumstance") and insert ("circumstances").

The Earl of Mansfield

My Lords, we come here not to a misprint but, curiously enough, to a mistake in the Bill which was noticed by me this morning. In consequence of it, therefore, I beg leave to move a manuscript amendment to the Commons Amendment No. 68, to leave out "circumstance" and insert "circumstances". I really do not think I need to justify this amendment. I beg to move.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the said Lords amendment to Commons Amendment No. 68.—(The Earl of Mansfield.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
