HL Deb 14 October 1981 vol 424 c388

55 Page 9, line 20, leave out 'or'.

The Earl of Mansfield

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 55, and I should like to speak to Amendment No. 58. These amendments in effect offer protection to a bona fide purchaser against the risk of fraud by the seller. I do not think I need say any more.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendment.—(The Earl of Mansfield.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
