HL Deb 20 January 1981 vol 416 c347

The Lord Chancellor (Lord Hailsham of Saint Marylebone) rose to move, That the draft order laid before the House on 2nd December be approved.

The noble and learned Lord said: My Lords, I beg to move that the Judgments Enforcement (Northern Ireland) Order 1981, the draft of which was laid before the House on 2nd December 1980, be approved. This order consolidates the law relating to the enforcement of judgments in Northern Ireland. It makes no changes of substance in the existing law but brings it together in one order. I beg to move.

Moved, That the draft order laid before the House on 2nd December be approved.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
