My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Leader of the House, I beg to move the Motion standing in his name on the Order Paper. This is the Motion which is usually moved to enable Business to be completed before the long Recess. The Bills concerned on this occasion are: the Education Bill—remaining stages on Tuesday, 24th July; the Finance Bill—all stages on Tuesday, 24th July; and the Consolidated Fund (Appropriation) Bill—all stages on Friday, 27th July.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 43 (No two stages of a Bill to be taken on one day) be suspended until the Summer Recess.—(Lord Denham.)
