§ "Clerks of petty sessions.
§ 30. References in this Act to clerks of petty sessions are references to the persons appointed as such by the Lord Chancellor in the exercise of his power under section 69 of the Judicature (Northern Ireland) Act 1978 and include references to persons appointed under that power as assistant or deputy clerks of petty sessions.".'
§ Schedule 5, page 109, line 38, at end insert 'and in subsection (8) for the words in brackets substitute the words "(other than a member of the Northern Ireland Court Service) ".'
