Like the Bill to which your Lordships have just given a Second Reading, this, too, is a pure consolidation Bill consolidating the Oaths Act 1838 and the Oaths Acts 1888 to 1977. These Acts also include provisions as to solemn affirmations. The Bill makes no change in existing law. I beg to move.
