§ The LORD PRIVY SEAL (Lord Peart)My Lords, I very much regret that Members of the House have suffered inconvenience due to some delays in the publication of certain papers. I fully realise that this can cause problems for noble Lords in the conduct of the business of the House, and of course we are doing all we can to ensure that the present difficulties are overcome. Until the difficulties are resolved, it would he of great assistance both to Members of the House and to the staff if noble Lords would try to ensure that Amendments to Bills are put down not later than Thursday when they are to be considered on the Monday or Tuesday of the following week.
