§ Lord KIRKHILLMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 37. This Amendment is consequential upon the Amendment which identified the Church of Scotland separately for the purposes of Clause 8(1)(a). Without the Amendment, Clause 14 would not now embrace the Church of Scotland as was intended. The Church of Scotland authorities drew attention to this omission and, of course, welcome this Amendment.
