§ The LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 1. This Amendment is consequential upon Clause 1(1)(a). It ensures that the charges referred to in Clause 1(2)—which is intended to apply to all charges arising under Clause 1(1)(a) —are not confined to charges recoverable by a local authority, but include charges acquired by water authorities or New Town Development Corporations arising under Clause 1(1)(a). My Lords, I beg to move.
