HL Deb 09 April 1975 vol 359 c84

2.52 p.m.

Lord CAMPBELL of CROY

My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what have been the main effects of the blockade of ports by fishing vessels and what action Her Majesty's Government have taken.

The MINISTER of STATE, SCOTTISH OFFICE (Lord Hughes)

My Lords, since the noble Lord, Lord Campbell of Croy, tabled this Question, it has been arranged that a Statement will be made in another place by my honourable friend the Under-Secretary of State for Scotland. With the leave of the House, I hope to repeat that Statement at a suitable moment after half-past three. I think it would suit the noble Lord if I were to defer an Answer to his Question until then.
