HL Deb 31 July 1974 vol 353 c2316

11.48 a.m.

LORD BROCKWAY

My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what progress has been made in the discussions between E.E.C. Foreign Ministers and representatives of fifty developing countries regarding conditions of trade and what part the United Kingdom is taking in these negotiations.

LORD GORONWY-ROBERTS

My Lords, my right honourable friend the Minister for Overseas Development is making a Statement in another place this morning; and with the permission of your Lordships' House I shall then repeat it.

LORD BROCKWAY

My Lords, I thank the Minister. I will reserve what I have to say until that Statement is made.
