HL Deb 25 October 1973 vol 345 c776

4.26 p.m.

LORD POLWARTH rose to move. That the Legal Advice and Assistance (Scotland) (Financial Conditions) (No. 2) Regulations 1973, be approved. The noble Lord said: My Lords, I do not think I need detain your Lordships long. These regulations follow those concerning England and Wales moved by the noble and learned Lord the Lord Chancellor yesterday and agreed to by your Lordships. They bring the financial limits in respect of legal aid and legal advice and assistance in line with those agreed by your Lordships in respect of England. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Legal Advice and Assistance (Scotland) (Financial Conditions) (No. 2) Regulations 1973, be approved.—(Lord Polwarth.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
