§ LORD ABERDAREMy Lords, this Amendment, which implies no change in policy, fills a gap in paragraph 10 of Schedule 1. Its effect is to bring the powers of direction of the Secretary of State in relation to the appointment of staff into line with those provided under Section 12 of the 1946 Act. I beg to move.
