THE PARLIAMENTARY UNDERSECRETARY OF STATE, DEPARTMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT (LORD SANDFORD)

My Lords, our autumn labours on the Local Government Bill led to a total of 633 Amendments being proposed by your Lordships' House. All but one of these—to Clause 141—have been accepted by the other place. I beg to move that the Commons Reason for disagreeing to the Lords Amendment to Clause 141 be now considered.
