EARL JELLICOEMy Lords, there are two matters that I would mention to your Lordships. A number of Members of your Lordships' House will know that Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip have accepted an invitation to dine with members of the Privy Council on Tuesday, November 21, to celebrate the occasion of their 25th Wedding Anniversary. The dinner will take place in the Royal Gallery and the arrangements for this may I fear cause some inconvenience to your Lordships. I can assure your Lordships that everything possible will be done to keep that inconvenience to an absolute minimum. It has also been agreed, through the usual channels, that the House should rise on that day at about 5 o'clock.
