My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what is the nature of their consultations taking place with the Government of Finland regarding the projected European Conference on Security and Co-operation.

My Lords, at their meeting in Bonn on May 30 and 31, Foreign Ministers of North Atlantic Treaty countries accepted the offer of the Finnish Government to provide facilities in Helsinki to prepare the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe. These and other decisions are recorded in the Final Communiqué which, with your Lordships' permission, I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
