HL Deb 18 November 1970 vol 312 c1124
EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, your Lordships will be aware from the notice which the Clerk of the Parliaments circulated on Monday that there is a Memorial Service for General de Gaulle tomorrow, Thursday, at 12 noon at St. Paul's Cathedral.

The time limit for applications for tickets for the accommodation which has been reserved in the Cathedral for Members of your Lordships' House expired this morning. But your Lordships may like to know that there are still some tickets available in the Office of the Clerk of the Parliaments. These will be issued to Peers, who apply in person, on a "First come first served" basis. Secondly, whereas in the first instance it was decided that not more than one ticket could be issued to each Member of your Lordships' House, this limitation is now removed and two tickets will be issued to any Peer who would like a second ticket, for so long as the supply of tickets lasts.
