HL Deb 22 May 1969 vol 302 c468
LORD BESWICK

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 o'clock my noble friend the Leader of the House will be making a Statement on Northern Ireland, and later my noble friend Lord Stonham will be making a Statement on the case of Dr. A. E. Laurence.

May I take this opportunity of informing the House that it has now been possible to arrange business so that we shall return from the Whitsun Recess on Tuesday, June 10, instead of on Monday, June 9. I hope that this will meet the general convenience of your Lordships and, in particular, the anxiety voiced last week by the noble Lord, Lord Carrington, and the noble Earl, Lord St. Aldwyn.
