My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to provide in certain circumstances for the administration of euthanasia to persons who request it and who are suffering from an irremediable condition, and to enable persons to request in advance the administration of euthanasia in the event of their suffering from such a condition at a future date. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
