(9) Section 4 of the Entail Amendment (Scotland) Act 1875 (consent to disentail may be given at 21) is hereby repealed.

§ Lord HUGHESMy Lords, Amendments Nos. 1 and 2 go together and, with the permission of the House, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments. I need not take up too much of your Lordships' time with these or, indeed, with the subsequent Amendments, all of which are of a minor drafting nature. The purpose of Amendment No.'.. is to repeal Section 4 of the Entail Amendment (Scotland) Act 1875, which is now spent and should not therefore have been included in the Schedule to the Bill. 275 Amendment No. 2 corrects this error by removing the reference to Section 4 of the 1875 Act from the Schedule.
