§ LORD LINDGRENMy Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to amend the provisions of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 in relation to the fixing of betting days at licensed tracks; and to empower the Secretary of State to alter the maximum percentage which may be deducted by the operator from 134 amounts staked on the totalisator. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
