HL Deb 10 February 1966 vol 272 c885

Order of the Day for the Third Reading read.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (LORD GARDINER)

My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a third time. The Report of the Joint Committee upon this Bill is that they have considered the Mines (Working Facilities and Support) Bill … and have heard evidence thereon. They are of the opinion that the Bill is pure consolidation and represents the existing law and there is no point to which they think that the attention of Parliament should be drawn. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Bill read 3 and passed, and sent to the Commons.
