§ LORD CRAIGTONMy Lords, I would suggest to your Lordships that we take Commons Amendments Nos. 6 and 7 together, and discuss with them Amendments Nos. 11, 22, 34, 35, 45 and 47. They all deal with the same point, which is a drafting improvement. They make it clear beyond doubt that liquor may be provided to a resident's "private friend" only if the resident pays for it. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.
