LORD CRAIGTON

My Lords, I would suggest to your Lordships that we take Commons Amendments Nos. 6 and 7 together, and discuss with them Amendments Nos. 11, 22, 34, 35, 45 and 47. They all deal with the same point, which is a drafting improvement. They make it clear beyond doubt that liquor may be provided to a resident's "private friend" only if the resident pays for it. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.—(Lord Craigton.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
