HL Deb 01 August 1961 vol 234 c89

Clause 45, page 34, line 41, at end insert ("or under subsection (2) of this section to give a notice applying to anything erected in conformity with planning permission granted on an application under Part III of that Act").

LORD BRECON

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in Amendment No. 10. The purpose of this Amendment is to remove a possible overlap between the powers given to local authorities by subsection (2) of this clause end the powers of local planning authorities under the Town and Country Planning Act, 1947. Dual control is avoided by exempting from this subsection anything which has received planning permission on application under Part III of the 1947 Act.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Lord Brecon.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
