HL Deb 26 October 1960 vol 225 cc1097-8
LORD REA

My Lords, I beg to ask Her Majesty's Government the Question of which I have given them Private Notice, namely, whether they have any statement to make on the incident which occurred during the flight of Her Majesty the Queen from Denmark yesterday?

THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL AND MINISTER FOR SCIENCE (VISCOUNT HAILSHAM)

My Lords, I am grateful to the noble Lord for asking this Question, but there is, I think, a Private Notice Question in another place resulting in a statement there; and, with the permission of the House, I would ask that my noble friend the First Lord of the Admiralty be allowed to make a statement, which will be an answer to the noble Lord's Question, at a suitable moment later in the Sitting.

LORD REA

I am much obliged to the noble Viscount.
