§ VISCOUNT HAILSHAMMy Lords, I have to inform your Lordships that arrangements are being made for President de Gaulle to address Members of both Houses of Parliament in Westminster Flail on the morning of Tuesday, April 7. Details will be notified later. Seats will be available for all noble Lords wishing to attend together with their wives. Would noble Lords be good enough to notify the Clerk of the Parliaments, if possible by Tuesday, March 22, of their intention to attend and whether 906 or not they will be accompanied by their ladies.
§ LORD SILKINThe noble Viscount did not mention a time. Is that known yet?
§ VISCOUNT HAILSHAMI think that is one of the details which will be notified later.
§ THE EARL OF SWINTONCould the noble Viscount tell us which is the day? Is it the Tuesday or is it April 7?
§ VISCOUNT HAILSHAMIt is Thursday, April 7. It is Tuesday, March 22, by which notifications are asked, and Thursday, April 7, is the date of the Address. I am much obliged to the noble Earl. I was not aware that I had been guilty of that slip.
