HL Deb 22 June 1960 vol 224 c463
EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, in view of the large number of speakers in the debate this afternoon, it may be necessary to sit on after dinner, in which case there will be an adjournment at somewhere about 7.30 p.m. for one hour. I would remind your Lordships that dinners are available in the dining room on all sitting days from now until the end of this Session.

LORD SILKIN

My Lords, has the noble Earl made quite sure that those of us who wish to take advantage of this will be able to get our dinner within the hour? There have been occasions when we have not been able to do so.

EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, if the noble Lord will reserve his table and inform the manageress at exactly what time he wishes to have his dinner, I am sure he will get it in time.
