EARL ST. ALDWYNMy Lords, it has been arranged through the usual channels that we should discuss the Committee stage of the Weights and Measures Bill for approximately three hours this afternoon, and then adjourn the Committee stage at somewhere between 5.30 and 6 o'clock.
It is hoped that all necessary business will have been disposed of in time for the House to adjourn for the Christmas Recess on Wednesday, December 21, until Tuesday, January 24.
