HL Deb 06 December 1960 vol 227 cc17-8

3.14 p.m.

Order of the Day read for the Bill to be considered on Report.

THE EARL OF DUNDEE

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend Lord Craigton, who has become a casualty in "Operation Forth Bridge", and to whom we all wish a very speedy recovery and, perhaps, better luck in "Operation Tay Bridge", I beg to move that this Report be now received.

Moved, That this Report be now received.—(The Earl of Dundee.)

LORD SALTOUN

My Lords, can the noble Earl tell the House how the noble Lord, Lord Craigton, is getting on? I think we are all anxious to hear how he is. He must have had a very bad time.

THE EARL OF DUNDEE

My Lords, I did inquire this morning. I gather that my noble friend is up, and that his condition does not give him concern. I am sure that your Lordships would wish me to convey your good wishes to him.

LORD SALTOUN

Thank you very much.

On Question, Motion agreed to.
