§ LORD FORBESMy Lords, the effect of this Amendment is to provide that agriculture, for the purpose of this Bill, is defined in the same way as in Section 86 (3) of the Agriculture (Scotland) Act, 1948. This Amendment arises from a request that Clause 7 should contain a reference to horticulture so as to ensure that the Commission would be empowered to make a control scheme to prevent damage to horticulture. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the same Amendment.
