HL Deb 25 March 1959 vol 215 cc366-7
VISCOUNT ALEXANDER OF HILLSBOROUGH

My Lords, may I ask Her Majesty's Government the Question of which I have given Private Notice—namely, whether the Government have any statement to make on the visits of the Prime Minister, with the Foreign Secretary, to Paris, Bonn, Canada, and the United States?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR COMMONWEALTH RELATIONS (THE EARL OF HOME)

My Lords, the answer is, Yes; and I think it might be convenient to fix a definite time, because I am not sure how long our Business will last, owing to Lord Teviot's illness. I think that at a quarter to four I shall be able to repeat a statement which is to be made by the Prime Minister in another place.
