My Lords, I beg to ask Her Majesty's Government a Question of which I have given them Private Notice—namely, whether Her Majesty's Government can to-day make a statement on the discussions concerning the proposed Summit Meeting, and whether they can make a further statement on the meeting of the Baghdad Pact Powers.

My Lords, my noble friend the Leader of the House will be making a statement on the proposed Summit Meeting some time after half past three this afternoon, and he will be making a further statement on the televising of the State opening of Parliament. May I add that my noble friend Lord Perth will also be making a statement on Malta.
