THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DROGHEDA)

My Lords, the Amendments proposed to be made are purely drafting Amendments, consequential upon the passing of the City of London (Loans) Act last year. I beg to move that the Amendments be agreed to.

Moved, That the following Amendments be made to the Standing Orders relating to Private Bills, etc.:—

Standing Order 175, page 72, line 5, lines 10 and 11 and lines 44 and 45, leave out ("(Finance Consolidation) Act, 1912") and insert ("(Loans) Act, 1955")—(The Earl of Drogheda.)

On Question, Motion agreed to: the said Standing Order amended accordingly.
