HL Deb 11 July 1956 vol 198 c851
VISCOUNT ALEXANDER OF HILLSBOROUGH

My Lords, I was under the impression that the noble Marquess the Leader of the House was going to tell us something as to what was expected with regard to to-day's Business.

THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY)

My Lords, I understood it had been agreed by noble Lords opposite that we should sit rather later than usual to-night, with a view to making progress with this stage of the Restrictive Trade Practices Bill, and Her Majesty's Government are agreeable to that course. We shall just have to see what progress we make.
