HL Deb 10 March 1955 vol 191 c903
THE EARL OF ONSLOW

My Lords, before we resume the debate, I should like to ask your Lordships' leave to make an announcement on Business for next Monday and Tuesday, when the Report stage of the Road Traffic Bill will be taken. There is so much work before us on this stage that it will be necessary to ask the House to sit late on Monday night next. A dinner adjournment will be taken between seven and eight-fifteen p.m. The Report stage should be completed on the next day, Tuesday. Whether or not we shall ask your Lordships to sit late on that night also will, of course, depend upon the progress made on Monday.
