HL Deb 10 March 1955 vol 191 c903

3.5 p.m.

THE EARL OF LISTOWEL

My Lords, I beg to ask the Government the following Question, of which I have given private notice: Whether they have a statement to make about the Annual Review of the economic conditions and prospects of the agricultural industry.

THE JOINT PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES (EARL ST. ALDWYN)

My Lords, my right honourable friend will be making a statement shortly in another place, and noble Lords would not wish me to anticipate his remarks. With the permission of the House, therefore, I will interrupt the proceedings a little later in the afternoon and will make a statement then.
