HL Deb 06 May 1952 vol 176 cc601-2
LORD BLACKFORD

My Lords, I beg to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what was the cost of the School of Fashion Design in the last Financial Year, and how many students, male and female, were in training during that year.]

LORD LLOYD

My Lords, the total gross expenditure on the School of Fashion Design was £9,482 of which £2,700 was non-recurrent. There were twenty-six students, four male and twenty-two female, who paid an annual fee of £60 each.
