HL Deb 10 June 1952 vol 177 c5

2.48 p.m.

EARL FORTESCUE

My Lords, I have a statement to make on Business this afternoon. First, my noble friend Lord Reading will interrupt Business at some convenient time between 3.30 and 3.45 p.m. in order to make a statement on the Agreements recently signed in Bonn and Paris in similar terms to one which will be read in another place by my right honourable friend the Foreign Secretary this afternoon. Secondly, as my noble friend Lord Carrington is unable to be here this afternoon, it has been agreed through the usual channels that the Second Reading of the Electricity Supply (Meters) Bill shall be postponed from to-day until Thursday next.
