§ EARL FORTESCUEMy Lords, before we come to the first Business on the Order Paper, I have to inform your Lordships that at about four o'clock this afternoon my noble friend the Minister of Defence, Lord Alexander of Tunis, will make a statement on the provision for defence, to coincide with the statement on the same subject which is to be made by the Prime Minister in another place.
