§ THE EARL OF CLARENDONMy Lords, I have the honour to present two Messages from the King, signed with his own hand. The first Message is as follows:
"I have received your Addresses praying that the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) Act, 1945, and the various Defence Regulations and enactments which you specify be continued in force respectively for a further period of one year until the tenth day of December, nineteen hundred and fifty-two. I will give directions accordingly."
The second Message reads as follows:
"I have received your Addresses praying that the Patents (Extension of Period of Emergency) Order, 1951, and the Registered Designs (Extension of Period of Emergency) Order, 1951, be made in the form of the respective drafts laid before Parliament. I will comply with your request."
