HL Deb 09 November 1949 vol 165 c401

2.35 p.m.

LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, before we deal with the Business on the Order Paper to-day, I should like to make a brief announcement regarding our Business to-morrow. In view of the large number of Amendments still left for discussion on the Committee stage of the National Parks Bill, it has been generally agreed, after discussion through the usual channels, that the House shall meet at 2.30 to-morrow afternoon instead of four o'clock. Further, in order to ensure completion of the Committee stage that day we must ask the House to be prepared, if necessary, to meet after a dinner adjournment of about an hour and a quarter from approximately seven o'clock.
