§ Clause 21, page 19, line 19, at end insert ("and section four of the Married Women (Maintenance) Act, 1949, shall apply to orders under any enactment directing payment to a justices' clerk as collecting officer on behalf of any person as it applies in relation to orders under the enactments mentioned in that section directing payment 1o him on behalf of a married woman.")
§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, this applies to affiliation orders and orders under the Guardianship of Infants Acts, and the provisions in the Private Member's Bill which is being con- 1654 sidered later to-day, imposing certain duties on collecting officers in respect of ! wife maintenance orders. I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.
