("(b) any premises in which under subsection (2) or subsection (3) of section thirteen of this Act accommodation and maintenance are for the time being provided for a child in the care of a local authority.")
§ LORD MORRISONMy Lords, this Amendment repairs a defect in subsection (1) as drafted, by extending the powers of inspection to apply to (a) nurseries provided under the National Assistance Act in which children under the age of three are accommodated and maintained, and (b) other premises provided under that Act which may be used temporarily for the accommodation of children who have reached the age of three. I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.
