§ LORD MORRISONMy Lords, this Amendment is desirable because the Advisory Council on Child Care provided for in Clause 43 will be for England and Wales only, whereas some of the enactments mentioned in subsection (1) apply to Scotland as well as to England. A separate Advisory Council on Child Care for Scotland is provided for in Clause 44. I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.
