HL Deb 07 June 1948 vol 156 c440
LORD WALKDEN

My Lords, I beg to repeat the announcement I made earlier in the evening with regard to the business for to-morrow and Wednesday on the Parliament Bill. Owing to the number of your Lordships who have notified their wish to take part in the debate on the Second Reading of the Parliament Bill, it may be necessary to ask your Lordships to sit after dinner to-morrow (Tuesday) and to meet on Wednesday at two o'clock instead of two-thirty, in order that the House may be ready to divide between five and six o'clock.

House adjourned at three minutes before eleven o'clock.
