§ THE LORD CHANCELLOR (VISCOUNR JOWITT)My Lords, I would like to make an announcement about the visit by a Delegation of Deputies of the Supreme Soviet of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The Delegation of the Deputies of the Supreme Soviet is now expected to arrive in England on Tuesday next, in response to the invitation extended by both Houses of Parliament. A reception for members of both Houses and their ladies, at which Mr. Speaker and I will receive the delegates, will be held in the Royal Gallery at 4.30 p.m. on Friday, March 14. I hope that many of your Lordships and your ladies will be able to be present.
