My Lords, I beg to move the Motion which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That Standing Orders Nos. XXI and XXXIX be considered in order to their being dispensed with for the pur- pose of giving the Indian Independence Bill precedence over the other Notices and Orders of the Day and of passing the Bill through its remaining stages.—(Viscount Addison.)
