My Lords, I beg to ask the first question standing in the name of my noble friend Lord Hawke.

[The question was as follows:

To ask His Majesty's Government whether the price of linseed oil has risen from £65 per ton early in September, 1946, to £200 per ton as from February 2, 1947.]
