HL Deb 29 July 1942 vol 124 c59
LORD SNELL

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend Viscount Cranborne, I beg to move that the Motion which stands in his name be agreed to.

Moved, that Standing Orders Nos. XXI and XXXIX be considered in order to their being dispensed with for the purpose of giving precedence to the United States of America (Visiting Forces) Bill [H.L.] over the other Notices and Orders of the Day, and for the purpose of passing that Bill through its remaining stages.—(Lord Snell.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.
