HL Deb 14 April 1942 vol 122 cc569-70
LORD DAVIES

My Lords, I beg to ask the first question standing on the Paper in my name

[The question was as follows:

To ask His Majesty's Government, how many contracts of £50,000 and over, based upon cost plus a percentage of profit, are now in operation and whether any contracts on this basis have been entered into in Northern Ireland.]

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (VISCOUNT SIMON)

My Lords, I am having inquiries made to ascertain whether there are any such contracts, and if so how many, and I will communicate with the noble Lord as soon as possible.
